Our Story
A passionate team of local storytellers, explorers, and culture lovers dedicated to sharing the real Sri Lanka with the world.
Who We Are
Trip Travel Sri Lanka was founded in 2014 by a group of local guides, photographers, and travel writers who believed that Sri Lanka deserved to be shown in its fullest, most authentic light. We were tired of seeing tourists miss the hidden waterfall behind the resort, the grandmother who makes the best lamprais in Colombo, the deserted beach only the fishermen know about.
Today we are a team of 15 passionate individuals — guides, writers, photographers, and logistics experts — all united by one mission: to help you experience Sri Lanka the way we do. Deeply. Authentically. Unforgettably.

Sustainable · Luxury · Regenerative
Where modern luxury meets conscious travel. Curated immersive experiences designed for travellers who want to explore deeply, live richly, and leave the island better than they found it.
The New Way to Travel Sri Lanka
The modern luxury traveller doesn't just want five-star comfort — they want meaning. They want to sleep in a jungle eco-lodge that runs on solar energy, eat breakfast prepared by a local family, and trek through a rainforest with a naturalist who's devoted their life to protecting it.
At Trip Travel Sri Lanka, we design experiences at the intersection of exceptional quality and genuine purpose. Every experience we offer supports local communities, protects natural habitats, and creates memories that last a lifetime — for you and for Sri Lanka.
What We Offer
Six distinct collections — each designed around a different way of experiencing Sri Lanka authentically, luxuriously, and responsibly.

Traveller Stories
"The eco-lodge experience in Sinharaja was unlike anything we've ever done. Waking up to birdsong, knowing our stay directly funded the local school — this is what travel should feel like."
"Our honeymoon was absolutely magical. The private beach dinner in Mirissa, the sunrise balloon over Sigiriya — Trip Travel thought of every detail. Utterly seamless and breathtakingly beautiful."
"We spotted three leopards in one morning in Yala. Our naturalist guide knew exactly where to go. Then we had breakfast watching elephants at the waterhole. Pinch me. Absolutely incredible."
